Selfridges commissioned GoodWaste to batch produce a range of furniture and homeware made from local waste, to be sold in store and online. View the collection and purchase here ︎
We used this commission as an intial test of our vision of local, circular; an opportunity to not only promote the model, but to see how real customers would respond to the idea of products made from waste, where each one is inherently unique.
We productised seven different designs: a bench, tables, shelving unit, mirrors and clocks; producing them in quantities ranging from one-offs to 50 units.
All products are made primarily from waste (marble, steel and Corian) and all were collected and handmade in London by GoodWaste.
